(More customer reviews)I purchased this bag for use as a carry-on, so I have not yet checked it.I don't have any experience with how it makes it through the baggage handlers - but it seems very well constructed.The handles are very comfortable and the compression straps on the front are great.The handle seems to work great, I've not yet had any problems with any part of this bag.The zippers are larger than some, hopefully that will give this bag some longevity.It's lightweight, so that helps in pushing it up into the overhead bin.But even though it's a soft-sided bag, there are hard molded inserts which do help in protecting the contents.It seems like a duffel bag with nice hard inserts - so if you are looking for a squishy bag, look elsewhere - but if you want a lightweight soft-sided carry-on, this one works great.
