(More customer reviews)Was looking for a durable weatherproof duffel to replace a 12 year old Eddie Bauer.I was looking for a duffel with one large compartment.A good friend recommended the BD Huey Duffel.This bag is really well made.The stitching and seams are super tough.It has one main flap with heavy duty zippers running the length of the bag.The zippers are covered and provide great protection from wet conditions.The bag is not waterproof.But, it's as close to waterproof as a bag can be.It has a ton of configurations for the straps that can be used as a backpack or just a shoulder strap.It has about eight different attachment points for the straps.Webbing is crisscrossed over both ends of the bag providing another place to lift, pull, or attach whatever is needed.My only problem with the bag is the straps do tend to slide open if you grab it near the fasteners.It just makes them go from short to long (in a very short amount of time).Make sure and grab the shoulder pads to avoid this problem.Other than that it's a perfect gear bag and luggage bag.
