(More customer reviews)Although the bag has a great design with the side opening laptop case, the "lifetime warranty" is in fact not a lifetime warranty, but more like a 2 week warranty as the customer service reprehensive told me. This deeply angers me that a company that holds themselves out to be a repeatable business doesn't honor what they advertise. Below is one of many emails that I have sent to Ogio, they have yet to respond to this one. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM OGIO!!

Dear Ogio,

I am writing you to inform you of the warranty issue that I have had with your company. I purchased what I thought was an industry leading backpack for normal use around town and to be used for transporting my books and computer to and from class. This does not seem to be a drastically demanding use of a product that is marketed towards extreme sport junkies and thrill seekers alike. The stitching that held in the zipper has recently come out, thus prompting me to start this chain of emails and the warranty redemption process. I emailed your warranty department and they informed me without ever actually seeing the bag that it was user use that led to the product's failure and that your company would not be replacing or repairing the bag. They stated that if there was to be any errors in workmanship or materials they would occur in the first few months of use, not 2 years later. Although this somewhat makes sense, why would Ogio offer a lifetime warranty on this bag then?

After reading through the Ogio website, it seems to state that you offer a warranty with all of your bags (with original receipt, and only for the first owner of course). Why do you state this on your website, if you do not intend on honoring it at all? This doesn't really even make me mad that I spent a considerable amount of my hard earned money on what I thought was a great bag, with a great warranty to assure me of my purchase (thank you marketing dept.), but I would like to say that I am just disappointed with your company in general. If you don't stand behind your products at all why would I ever buy one again, or tell my friends to ever buy anything from you? In fact it might lead me to inform 1,354 of my closest Facebook friends how you actually run your company.

I see from the picture on your website that your company has it's own helicopter and huge tour bus, but cannot honor the warranty that you stated on you website, it seems that you need to re-check your company's priorities. Without the customer, you cannot sponsor pro athletes or purchase a helicopter. I will be sure to inform everyone about how your warranty system works and advise them not to purchase any Ogio product. I hope you can infer from this email that I will never buy another Ogio product as well.

I appreciate your time in reading this email, and please do not take any personal offense to this email. I am upset with Ogio as a company and not the individual reading this letter (unless you made the policy of not honoring what you advertise).
