(More customer reviews)Jacob was called Israel. But anyway I gave it a 4 star ONLY BECAUSE the description of it is a little vague and maybe missleading. I have had it for a while and it works fine. The one they sent me came with a sturdy METAL zipper -brass, I think - and it works great. THE STRAPS go completely underneath the bag...it looks like they do the vinyl waterproofing covers the bottom of the bag so one can't actually see the straps going underneath but it looks as it they do. The vinyl is thick and durable. The mentioned "end pouches" are on the ends and they are large so to speak end pockets - One on each side that are enclosed by a flap having a piece of velcro in the center of each flap. The "3 zippered outside pockets" are smaller and made flat to the material similiar to a shirt pocket with a zipper on it - so in other words as compared to the end pockets they will not hold as much but they zip close - which is nice ... wish the end pockets had zippers. The zip side pockets are good for paper I guess. The "vinyl reinforced handles" are not reinforced with vinyl well the only vinyl on my hadles are two little patches on each side covering the top area where the handles are attached to each side. The straps are plenty strong enough.

The material is good strong green canvas type.

There is a similiar bag out there in Internet land which is about the same thing but it has padded shoulder straps with it - I like the shoulder carry option better so I got one of those too.

But it ya don't need a shoulder option - technically you could hook these straps over each shoulder if you are not a pro weight lifter and carry it that way - then consider getting this bag.

These bags are heavy duty and are made the way a bag should be made.

I have several sizes and use them for everything from Duck Decoys to stove and demo bags.

these are Gear BagsNorthstar Sports is based out of California.They are making a better gear bag that will hold up to years of abuse!all heavy duty from top to bottom.

Pros:

Jumbo zipper
1050 HD Tuff Cloth, it looks very tactical and has a super heavy feel, like the old time ballistic cloth
Heavy Strap

Cons:

not much, maybe an internal security zip pocket.
No strap pad.

Very nice and Fishgriller approved, they also have a sweet Gator bag, hard to find but killer...

Im petite and I love the size.It's big enough to have my boxing gloves and shoes too.It doesnt look heavy-duty. It sure isnt sturdy loooking like the branded duffels but I wont wear it out anyways. Im gonna take good care of it cos I love it. And the color is beautiful.
Buy this if you wanna save money. Skip the branded duffels and totes. Just take good care of the bag and it will serve you well.No need for expensive brands.
