(More customer reviews)I have owned this bag for the past 3 years and have probably been on over a 100 flights, both domestic and international. Not once have I ever had a problem with checking it in and that's across several airlines (United included) I suspect that because it is only just over the limit and it's size looks decpetive, they don't notice or just let it go. Either way, the large capacity and relatively narrow footprint that the bag has when standing upright makes it very easy to manoeuvre, particularly if you have to negotiate public transport. After 3 years, none of the stitching has come apart and the zippers are intact. However, the internal reinforced plastic base has finally parted toward the base of the bag but considering the use it has had I am fine with. Very easy bag to spot on the conveyor also
